Pippin Cottage

This is the first house you reach as you arrive in the village — an especially intimate hideaway, within arm’s reach of the surrounding forests.

The house includes a double bedroom, a living room with kitchenette, and a generous bathroom with WC. Original wooden beams, a traditional wooden porch, and carefully restored furniture give the space its warm, timeless character.

One of its most loved features is the large private garden: a spacious outdoor area just for you, perfect for slow mornings, quiet reading, and evenings by the grill with fresh village air. Amenities include Wi-Fi, a barbecue area, and a generous private yard. The reception barn is only a short walk away.

From the Past

Built in the 1940s by Péter Marton and his wife Dina Ferenczi (daughter of Ferenczi Gáspár, the village blacksmith), this home began as a young couple’s family house on land gifted by Gáspár himself. Set near the stream and the forest edge, it still carries a calm, grounded atmosphere — a natural refuge for guests who come to slow down.
