The village is truly ‘beyond the forest’, nested in a beautiful and hidden valley, surrounded by nature. Access is only by unsurfaced (but maintained) roads through the native forests. Most visitors will take the road 4km north from Ghindari (Makfalva), on the main road from Bălăușeri (Balavásár) to Sovata (Szováta), but another road leads north from the village to Miercurea Nirajului (Nyárádszereda).
