Abod Retreat is reached via unsurfaced but well-maintained forest roads, adding to the feeling of arriving somewhere truly quiet and remote. Most guests approach from Ghindari (Makfalva), taking the road north for approximately 4 km from the main route between Bălăușeri (Balavásár) and Sovata (Szováta). An alternative access road leads north from the village toward Miercurea Nirajului (Nyárádszereda). We recommend arriving in daylight if possible, and we’re happy to share the best route for your vehicle and season.
