No. Abod Retreat is a village retreat made up of restored homes scattered across Székelyabod, with a central barn for reception and breakfast. It’s designed for slow living, privacy and quiet — not full-service resort life.
Accommodation in your chosen house, linens and towels, basic toiletries, and access to the village spaces. If your rate includes breakfast, it will be clearly indicated at booking.
Breakfast is served at the central barn, or delivered to your house on request. Some packages include it automatically; otherwise it can be added depending on season and availability.
We do not operate a restaurant or full-board service. Breakfast is available, while lunch and dinner are flexible: you can explore nearby restaurants we recommend, or we can help you arrange local meal options and delivery to Abod (depending on availability). Just let us know once you’re here — we’re happy to assist.
Our central barn also functions as a small bar and gathering space, where you can enjoy coffee, tea, and a selection of drinks throughout the day.
Some homes have a small kitchenette suitable for simple meals. We encourage guests to keep things uncomplicated — this is part of the Abod rhythm.
Wi-Fi is limited and intentionally kept minimal. It’s enough for basic use, but not ideal for streaming or heavy work. Many guests enjoy it as a gentle digital reset.
Yes, for light work. However, if your stay depends on strong, stable internet or frequent video calls, Abod may not be the best fit.
Yes. Most houses have their own private courtyard or garden, offering space to slow down outdoors in peace.

Most guests arrive by car. The final access is via unsurfaced but maintained forest roads. Detailed directions and seasonal route tips are shared after booking.
